The more objects that have a gravitational influence, the more the inaccuracy. This is problematic because inaccuracies exist in these systems. A planet's motion in that system is influenced by the 1 star and the 99 other planets. So if I have 1 star and 100 planets, the star's motion is influenced by the gravity of those 100 planets. To put it simply, it calculates the gravitational influence of every object present in the universe on each other. Universe Sandbox 2 uses the n-body system. The grid of the universe where you can place objects in the game is pretty much infinite, so I'm going to take a guess and say you mean placing down a large number of objects.
